Sinclair Lewis (Sauk Centre, Minnesota, 7 de febrer de 1885 – Roma, Itàlia, 10 de juny de 1951) fou un escriptor i dramaturg estatunidenc guardonat amb el Premi Nobel de Literatura l'any 1930.

- Aquest acadèmic declara, públicament, que en concedir el Premi Nobel a una persona que s'ha burlat de les institucions americanes tant com ha pogut, el Comitè del Premi Nobel i l'Acadèmica Sueca han insultat els Estats Units.[2]
