- Des de quan només els aturats et diuen que has de deixar la feina? Ningú amb feina et diu mai que l'abandonis [...] No cancel·laran els Oscars perquè no ho faci i l'última cosa que necessito és perdre una altra feina...[1]
- (en anglès) How come there's only unemployed people that tell you to quit something, you know? No one with a job ever tells you to quit [...] They're not gonna cancel the Oscars because I quit. You know? And the last thing I need is to lose another job...
- Us heu d'imaginar què passava als 50 i als 60 [...] Estic segur que no hi havia nominats negres durant aquells anys. Diguem que al 62 o 63, els negres no protestaven. Per què?
